Hi, I’m Briege 👋 I’m an AAT-qualified accountant and the founder of Rapid Bookkeeping Solutions.


My path into accountancy hasn’t been the usual one — I’ve gone from working with Virgin Atlantic to childminding, to caring for family, and then retraining in accountancy while working nights. It’s been a backwards journey at times, but it’s given me a real understanding of how life and business don’t always run in straight lines!

Family is at the heart of everything I do, and that’s the ethos I bring to my business: supportive, straightforward, and always here when you need me.

What types of clients do you work with?

I work with sole traders, small businesses, and limited companies across mostly service based industries. Whether you’re just starting out or have been trading for years, I can tailor my services to your needs.

Do I need to be local to work with you?

Not at all! I work with clients all over the UK using secure, cloud-based accounting software like Xero. This means we can collaborate easily, wherever you’re based.

I already have an accountant — can you still help?

Yes. Many of my clients have a separate accountant for year-end accounts, while I handle the regular bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and day-to-day financial management.

How do you work with clients?

I believe in regular communication and keeping your books up to date all year round — no once-a-year surprises. We’ll agree on a schedule for sending documents and reviewing reports so you always know where you stand.

What software do you use?

I’m a Xero specialist, I’ll ensure your setup is fully optimised and compliant with HMRC’s Making Tax Digital requirements.

Do you offer fixed prices or hourly rates?

I offer fixed monthly packages so you know exactly what you’re paying for. This makes budgeting easier and avoids unexpected bills with payments made via DD in advance.

Can you help clean up messy accounts?

Absolutely. If your books are behind, inaccurate, or full of duplicates, I can complete a one-off software clean-up to get everything in order before moving onto regular bookkeeping.

How do I get started?

Will you chase my late-paying customers?

Yes — politely but firmly. I can handle credit control for you, sending professional reminders and keeping track of overdue invoices so you get paid faster without awkward conversations.

Do I have to keep a shoebox of receipts?

No shoeboxes needed! I’ll set you up with digital tools so you can simply snap a photo of your receipts and upload them — quick, secure, and HMRC-compliant.

What if my accounts are a complete mess?

No judgment here — in fact, messy accounts are one of my favourite challenges! I offer a software clean-up service to get everything accurate, organised, and ready for smooth ongoing bookkeeping.

How often will I hear from you?

Regularly. I believe in year-round support, not just an annual phone call. You’ll receive updates, reminders, and reports on an agreed schedule, plus I’m always on hand for questions.

Can I visit you in person?

We work on a remote basis and although do not provide on site visits, we communicate regularly via dedicated Whatsapp, Phonecall, and Zoom Meetings and can therefore provide an efficient service to the whole of the UK.

Do you deal with HMRC for me?

Yes, once you authorise me as your agent, I can submit returns, respond to queries, and liaise with HMRC on your behalf.

Is my financial information secure?

Absolutely. I use encrypted, secure software and follow strict GDPR compliance guidelines to keep your data safe at all times.

What happens if I’m late sending information?

Life happens — I get it. I’ll send reminders and work with you to get things back on track quickly, but timely information helps us avoid penalties and late fees.

Can you help with Making Tax Digital (MTD)?

Yes — I’ll make sure your systems are MTD-compliant, and I can guide you through exactly what’s needed for VAT, Self Assessment, and future HMRC changes.
